Here’s a quick (?) blog entry that I would like to post before I take off for my 2-week, 3-state vacation with my family. I seriously need a vacation; the one back in June was way too short!

If you are an avid Blackberry phone user like me and if you’re an avid blogger at the same time, did you know that there are quite a good number of blogging mobile apps that you could use for your BB? With the iPhone and the Android phones already ruling the smartphone/mobile world, it seems developers have forgotten about us BB users, knowing that BB was the first (?) smartphone ever sold in the history of mobile phones. I guess BB users are becoming close to being ancient history? And I’ve only been a BB user since May 2011. I needed a good smartphone with a physical, user-friendly QWERTY keyboard for that particular purpose: MOBLOGGING.

I’ve compiled a short list of blogging apps for BB phones from the general usage to the ones most specific to the BB itself. I’m already using two of them on my list (WP for Blackberry and Tumblr for Blackberry) and looking in to more apps that I would eventually download for my BB. I still consider myself old-fashioned in terms of the latest technology but I’m already getting the hang of taking advantage of the mobile trends, let alone using a smartphone for the very first time also.
